TRIATLON je trogodišnji suradnički projekt Hrvatske, Francuske i Njemačke na području suvremenog plesa i teatra pokreta. Zamišljen je kao intenzivna kulturna i umjetnička suradnja hrvatskih plesnih i kazališnih organizacija te pozvanih plesnih umjetnika i teoretičara iz Francuske i Njemačke u okviru trogodišnje razmjene plesnih znanja i vještina, organiziranjem većeg broja radionica te rada na plesnim i kazališnim produkcijama pozvanih autora i hrvatskih plesnih i izvedbenih umjetnika.
Kroz praktičan rad u suvremenom plesnom izričaju intencija projekta je otvoriti i problematizirati sljedeće aspekte buduće kulturne suradnje: umjetnički i kulturni identitet triju zemalja, umjetničke i kulturne razlike, mogućnosti i uvjete za umjetnički dijalog, pojavu kulturnog alteriteta prouzrokovanog globalizacijom / osciliranje i fleksibilnost parametara koji definiraju današnje nacionalne kulturne identitete.
Prva faza TRIATLONA kroz 2005.godinu istražuje mogućnosti razmjene praktičnog plesnog znanja i vještina pozvanih umjetnika i hrvatskih plesnih zajednica, kroz radionice odijeljene u tri tematska kruga:
- transfer plesnih znanja i vještina,
- ples u relaciji spram širih društvenih, institucionalnih i političkih fenomena,
- ples u interakciji s novim medijima i tehnologijama.
TRIATLON ima za cilj stvoriti uvjete za organiziranu suradnju triju umjetničkih scena te otvoriti mogućnosti za rad na predstavama i međunarodnim istraživačkim projektima. Projekt će se u 2006. i 2007. godini nastaviti u obliku rada na odabranim materijalima, uz sudjelovanje zainteresiranih umjetnika iz 2005.godine.
Glavne partnere i organizacijski odbor TRIATLONA čine: Centar za dramsku umjetnost, EkSperimentalna slobodna scena, Francuski institut u Zagrebu, Goethe institut u Zagrebu, Hrvatski institut za pokret i ples, MARMOT i Zagrebački plesni ansambl.
TRIATLON is a three-year collaborative project between Croatia, France and Germany in the field of contemporary dance and theatre of movement. TRIATLON is imagined as an intensive cultural and artistic cooperation between Croatian dance and theatre organizations and invited French and German dance artists and theoreticians in the frame of workshop exchange of dance knowledge and expertise till the final work on the process of future dance and theatre productions of invited authors and Croatian dance and performing artists.
Through practical approach to contemporary dance the main goal of the project is to research following aspects for enriching the future cultural cooperation: artistic and cultural identity of three countries, artistic and cultural diversities, possibilities for artistic dialog, appearance of cultural alteration as the product of globalization / oscillation and flexibility of parameters which define today's national cultural identities.
The first phase of TRIATLON which is going to happen during 2005 is based on the research of possibilities of exchange of practical dance knowledge between foreign teachers and Croatian dance communities in the frame of workshops divided in three different topics:
Transfer of knowledge and expertise in dance,
Dance towards society, towards institutional and political phenomena,
Dance and New Technologies.
The main aim of TRIATLON long-term cooperation is to create conditions for strong collaborative work between three artistic milieus and to open the possibilities for further process of creating dance performances and artistic research projects. The project is planned to be developed during 2006 and 2007 as an open process of work on selected performing materials and with the participations of interested artistic individuals.
The main partnership and organizational team of TRIATLON is comprised of: Center for Drama Art, Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance, Experimental Free Scene, French Institute in Zagreb, Goethe Institute in Zagreb, MARMOT and Zagreb Dance Ensemble.
