Free public talk on curating the performing arts, the Curators' Piece, and the magazine FRAKCIJA #55

From March 7- 27, Croatians Tea Tupajić and Petra Zanki are resident artists at PS122, where they are developing the performance Curators' Piece, together with artistic director Vallejo Gantner. During their stay, the artists, with the help of the PS122 team and invited curators, are building the performance - which will premiere this year in Europe, and in 2012 -2013 in the US.
At this event, the artists will introduce this exciting project to the US audiences.
Additionally, the world's first magazine on curating the performing arts FRAKCIJA #55, will be presented. The issue will be available for purchase at a special discounted price of $15.

Periodu 07.-27. ožujka hrvatske umjetnice Tea Tupajić i Petra Zanki provode na rezidencijalnom boravku u PS122, gdje u suradnji sa umjetničkim direktorom te institucije Vallejom Gantnerom razvijaju projekt Curators' Piece, čija evropska premijera se očekuje ove godine, a izvedbe u SAD 2012-2013.
Umjetnice će predstaviti projekt.
Predstaviti će i prvu publikaciju koja tematizira kuriranje izvedbenih umjetnosti - FRAKCIJU #55. Časopis će se moći kupiti po posebnoj cijeni od $15.
